The Photograph
Silva Makenzi is a Brazilian photographer whose work explores the tension between light and shadow, silence and rupture. His self-portraits and staged scenes weave symbolic objects, cinematic atmospheres, and subtle social critique into images that move between intimacy and abstraction. With a background in Art and Education, Makenzi draws from cinema, literature, and contemporary art to build a visual language that is both poetic and unsettling.
